This car is modelled after the Mercedes-Benz E550 in real life, which provides an explanation for those sedan traits. One of the first things you’ll notice is that this is a heavier and slower vehicle than others on this list. Because of this, drifting it can be hard in the beginning and will take some practice. That being said, it makes for some good slides and corners once you get the hang of it.

At number 8 is the Schyster Fusilade which is another 2 door sports class vehicle. Like the Schwartzer this car has been in the game since launch and is perhaps one of the most underrated drifting cars. It is modelled after the American Chrysler Crossfire. The Fusilade has a heavy lack of customization options that can really hold it back as a vehicle that you keep around in your garage, but the performance is still there. This car has a great balance of speed and handling and you can really lean into the drifts around corners. This does not correlate with a lack of control however, and you’ll find that this is a very easy drifter.
7. Dewbauchee Rapid GT

The Rapid GT is another sports car that has been in GTA online since launch and similarly is very overlooked when it comes to drifting. This car is modelled after the Aston Martin V8 Vantage Roadster. It has a slim and minimalist look, lacking some of the more flashy and advanced customizations that cars further down on this list have.The Rapid GT is a vehicle that happens to be a little more stiff at first, but once you get the hang of it, you can use this to your advantage, making it easier to control. It is a faster sports car that has better speed than the previous two cars, making it a vehicle that you’d be more likely to keep around.

The Drift Yosemite is a very fun car and exciting addition to GTA online that came in the Diamond Casino Heist update. It is loosely based on the second gen. Chevrolet C10 with key features derived from the Ken Block Ford F-150 Hoonitruck. It falls under the muscle car class for good reason. While it is a vehicle that has drift in the name and was essentially made for drifting, it would not be surprising to see something like this at a drag strip. This truck has a lot of power in the rear wheels and you get a lot of burnout and sliding when you first hit the accelerator. This is a vehicle that really leans into the drift heavy and sometimes it will feel like you’ve lost control, but this is something that makes it that much more unique of a drift car.

Coming in the Diamond Casino & Resort update, this was a long desired car that Rockstar finally added to the game. It is based off of the 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon and is the successor to the Bravado Gauntlet. It is another muscle class vehicle and its drifting performance was highly surprising when added to the game. This car has immense power that you feel as soon as you touch the accelerator and sliding comes very easily. It is quite difficult to get the hang of its turning tendencies, but you’ll soon realize you don’t have to overdo it when making those tight corners. It has a very heavy back end that will spin out if you get too generous with the handbrake. All that taken into account, it is a beautiful surprise to the drifting community in GTA online.

The Karin Futo is a sports car that was included in launch, and constantly serves as a surprise to new drifters. It does not look the type, but this has always been one of the top drifting cars in the game and has very unique customization options. It is modelled after the 1983-87 Toyota Corolla, so it is a nice surprise that it has such a good balance of speed and handling, as it is in the sports car class. It is a sleek, compact car with very nice weight distribution. It is also a very cheap vehicle that you can even find on the street. All this taken into account it is a wonderful car for those who are new to the game or just learning how to drift.
3. Pfister Comet Retro Custom

The Comet Retro Custom is the Benny’s garage upgraded version of the normal Comet, which became available after the Import/Export update in December of 2016. This car is based off of the Ruf Turbo R and the 1980s Porsche 911S. This is a car that really gives off that drifting look, and its customization is wonderfully unique. Like the Futo it is a smaller car which makes for very balanced weight distribution, making it easy to become accustomed to. In addition, it is a very fast car, one of the fastest on the list. This allows for having the best of both worlds in a car that is a very good drifter, and one that can get around Los Santos in a hurry.

The Sultan RS is a super car that carries a lot of nostalgia along with it. It is the Benny’s Garage upgraded variant of the Sultan, which has long been a fan favorite of GTA games. It is based on the first generation Lexus IS making it quite a unique car. This car has top of the line acceleration and speed placing it as one of the fastest in the game. It also sits closer to the ground than the normal Sultan which gives it a strong advantage when drifting around those corners. You’ll find that you can lose control of this car often if you aren’t careful with the handbrake; you have to be conservative with it. All that taken into account this vehicle has earned its place on this list and is a very smooth and fun drifter.

Coming in at number one on this list is the Bravado Banshee 900R. The 900R is modelled after the Hennessey Viper Venom 1000 and a Dodge Viper. It is classified as a supercar, and it is the Benny’s Upgraded version of the Bravado Banshee. This car has immense power that you’ll feel right away. It sits very low to the ground which really aids in flying around those corners and maintaining control. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced drifter, this will be a car that you’ll have a lot of fun driving.

Важную роль играет тип привода: передний, задний или полный. От привода зависит поведение при вращении руля, акселерации, торможении. Приведенные в этой статье основы подходят для переднего и заднего приводов.
Желательно использовать двухдверные автомобили, т.к. их легче контролировать. Например чаще всего используют «Futo» и «Ruiner».

Спойлер к сожалению не влияет, но некоторым он помогает в восприятии габаритов автомобиля. Для высоких результатов важно не устанавливать пуленепробиваемую модификацию для шин, т.к. она помешает настроить высоту подвески. Модифицированные выхлопные трубы помогают визуально и на звук приятны, но нужно вибирать именно те, которые выпускают «огонек».

Вход в занос
Для входа в занос на заднеприводном автомобиле («RWD») достаточно повернуть руль в торону поворота под сильным углом, затем в противоположную. Например при повороте на 25 повернуть руль на 45, потом в противоположную сторону на 45. Кажется просто, но на деле требует опыта. Теперь хитрость: для поддержания скольжения, необходимо постоянно переходить от вращения в стороную поворота к вращению в противоположную сторону (Countersteering to Oversteering).
Прохождение поворотов требует практики. Даже опытные игроки допускают не одну ошибку на знакомых поворотах. Для успешного прохождение поворота потребуется использование всего вышеперечисленного. Сначала идет естественно вход в занос, затем нужно поддерживать высокие обороты держа газ и поддерживать стабильный курс движения чередую вращение руля в сторону поворота и в противоположную сторону (для «RWD» приводов). Чтобы «красиво» закончи поворот важно сохранять скорость и обороты. В нужный момент (путем экспериментов и опыта) находим нужные моменты для применения вышеуказанного метода ускорения, чтобы не дать оборотам упасть и держать передачи от 1 до 3.
